Bougainvillea can be a riot of color, with vines climbing on fences, railings, anywhere. In warm climates, they last year round in a vast variety of colors. The vine species grow anywhere from 3 to 40 feet tall, scrambling over other plants with their spiky thorns.

I like this version of bouganvillea. It is sometimes hard to get a good picture of that plant as the color is so intense and the flowers are crammed in together. L/F
