Description
White Ash Leaves by Christina Rollo. The White Ash tree looks very similar to Green Ash but grows in sunny, dry, well drained sites. It is one of the most abundant species of Ash in the United States. It's a fast growing tree reaching heights of 40 - 60 feet.
The emerald ash borer (Agrilus planipennis), an invasive species of beetle, also commonly known by the acronym EAB, is a green beetle native to Asia. It's threatening to destroy Ash trees in North America.
