Historic South Washington St. Bridge Binghamton NY by Christina Rollo. The South Washington Street Bridge is a historic lenticular truss bridge in Binghamton New York, USA. It connects the Binghamton's south side to downtown and was constructed in 1886 by Berlin Iron Bridge Company. The bridge was closed to vehicle traffic in 1969, but remains open for pedestrians. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
