Description
Call it Pont de l'Exposicio (Valencian) or Puente de la Exposición (Spanish) or Exhibition Bridge. You’ll know it when you see it! It crosses the Turia Garden in Valencia Spain that occupies the old riverbed of the River Turia as it passes through the city. It was inaugurated in 1995 and designed in signature style by Valencia’s favorite son, Santiago Calatrava. This bridge is popularly known as "la Peineta" (an ornamental comb) for its unique shape.
